MAGIX Expands Video deluxe 2008 Range

MAGIX Video deluxe 2008 adds timecode scene detection, batch conversion, HD disc output and expanded effects, audio and animation tools.

MAGIX released Video deluxe 2008 in standard, Plus and Audio & Effects editions. All three added retrospective timecode-based scene detection, editing controls in the Media Pool, batch conversion and an EasyBurn mode for direct DVD authoring.

HD material could be written to mini HD DVD or Blu-ray Disc. The base edition also created Web DVDs with animated menus for export to MAGIX Online Album.

Video deluxe 2008 Plus exported menu-driven high-definition PC video, supported proDAD Vitascene effects and bundled Reallusion iClone 2 SE for character and scene animation.

The Audio & Effects Edition added Vitascene SE with 250 templates for transitions, blur, colour correction and lighting effects. Samplitude SE 9 supplied multitrack audio editing, a track editor and spectral cleaning for removing localised noises such as coughs. The package also included the full version of iClone 2.
