Audio, video and multimedia, stationary and mobile via the Internet, are enjoying ever greater popularity. Already today, the download figures for audio and video podcasts are in some cases higher than the number of viewers or listeners of television and radio programmes. The possibility of being able to retrieve one’s preferred programme and important information corresponding to one’s personal profile whenever and wherever one wants fascinates the younger generation above all.
