Studio Hamburg and Exozet Partner on IPTV

The companies combine video production, asset management, portal development and TVNEXT technology for IPTV and video-on-demand projects.

Studio Hamburg Distribution & Marketing and Berlin multimedia agency Exozet formed a sales partnership for internet video and other online-media services. The agreement covered joint customer acquisition, project delivery and reciprocal use of infrastructure.

Combined service portfolio

The partners planned IPTV and video-on-demand services, online promotion for television programmes, interactive features and asset-management systems. Each company added the other’s services to its sales portfolio.

Studio Hamburg’s Online Media unit contributed internet-video production, television content distribution and digital media asset-management experience. Its FIAS platform provided a web-based video archive. The company said the partnership could cover content, asset management and channel management within one IPTV service.

Portal and distribution technology

Exozet provided consulting, concept development, design, construction and operation of online video portals. Its TVNEXT IPTV platform had received the first German IPTV Award for innovative technology in 2007. Exozet also contributed web development, internet distribution and digital marketing services.
