The presentation will be broadcast on the animago site using Windows Media Streaming. Logging in is not necessary. The streamer is also “intelligent”: It can stream at two quality levels and thus adapts itself to the user’s computing power. It starts at 800 kilobits per second and falls back to 400 kilobits if the user’s own computer has difficulty with the transmission.
The company Visual Acting handles the live switching on site. The agency specializes in designing interactive formats with moving images for the Internet. The entire camera technology, a total of three cameras at the AWARD presentation, is handled by the company DropIn-TV. The company fulfills customer requests in the areas of post-production and camera.
