The final examination for the Online Marketing Specialist degree program took place on Friday, November 9, on the premises of the Cologne Internet agency denkwerk. The graduates of the German Dialogue Marketing Academy (DDA) are among the first in the new occupational field. denkwerk is also taking the initiative in other training paths in the online sector. Thus, the Cologne company offers young talents the opportunity to train as a marketing communications clerk, non-print media designer, IT specialist and web developer.
“It is becoming increasingly difficult to find qualified online specialists on the labor market, since not only is demand high, but in recent years there has also been a failure to ensure the next generation,” says Marco Zingler, Managing Director Consulting at denkwerk and Chairman of the Agencies Specialist Group of the German Association for the Digital Economy (BVDW). “By supporting the Online Marketing Specialist degree program with experienced lecturers from our own company and through our training program, denkwerk is taking responsibility for securing the next generation for the Internet industry.”
“We are very pleased to have gained a reliable partner in denkwerk, which has not only enriched the Online Marketing Specialist course in terms of content, but has also made its premises available for lectures during the semester,” adds Achim London, Managing Director of the German Dialogue Marketing Academy.
