Pinnacle Systems, a leading manufacturer in the field of video editing solutions, TV tuners for the PC as well as digital media adapters for the consumer market, was honored yesterday with the Channel Champion Award in Munich. Pinnacle received 1st place in the category „Image-Video-Music Postprocessing“.
For seven years, ChannelPartner, the specialist magazine for the IT, telecommunications and consumer electronics trade, has honored manufacturers and distributors that are especially friendly to specialist retailers for their achievements with the Channel Champion Award. The basis for this is a pecialist retail study in which the retailers are asked to evaluate their suppliers. The factors queried include brand awareness, delivery capability, reliability, RMA handling, service and support, lead forwarding, quality of the partner program, effort for certifications and partner program and the manufacturer’s marketing activities toward the end customer.
In addition to the Image-Video-Music Postprocessing category, prizes were also awarded in a total of 11 other categories: PCs and servers, notebooks and mobility, components and IT accessories, storage, security, networks, printers, monitors, enterprise software, telecommunications as well as consumer electronics.
The awards ceremony took place yesterday evening at the exclusive Lenbach event venue in Munich. Pinnacle Systems may now wear the coveted Channel Champion logo as one of the Channel Champions for the year 2008.
