DP: What is new about Spyder3, what models are there and who is the target group?

Christoph Gamper: Spyder3 is completely new hardware and software. The model we have now brought to market as the first device is Spyder3 Elite. The target group consists of professional photographers and photo studios. Other Spyder3 models will follow, but only later.

DP: With the product launch of Spyder3, ColorVision is being integrated into datacolor AG. Does that also mean a strategic change?

Christoph Gamper: No, that does not mean a strategic change. We were always an independent business unit at datacolor AG. On the contrary, it means that we can draw on more development resources from our parent company, which has been active in the colour-management business for 20 years.
