The new 52LH1R is a 52-inch full-HD monitor with a resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 pixels and protection against oil, smoke and dust. Its 16:9 panel provides a brightness of 500 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1. The aluminium housing with non-reflective acrylic makes the monitor suitable for industrial and digital-signage applications. Connections include five BNC ports, BNC video, RS-232, two RCA connectors, DVI-D input and a speaker output. Two additional models complete SANYO’s range of monitors protected against oil, smoke and dust. The 42LM5R and 32LM5R, which are not being shown at the exhibition, provide HD-ready image quality and anodised aluminium housings for corrosion protection. They are intended for restaurants, hotels, sporting events and industrial applications.
At ISE, SANYO is also presenting the 42LM5WP, a development of its established weatherproof monitor. It offers improved protection against sunlight, water ingress and dust in accordance with IP66. The 42-inch display has a resolution of 1,366 by 768 pixels and a reinforced, vandal-resistant front panel. It operates at temperatures from minus 20 to plus 45 degrees Celsius and is intended for indoor and outdoor installations. A sealed aluminium housing protects the unit against corrosion. The smaller 32-inch 32LM5WP is also available with a winter mode and reinforced, anti-reflective glass. Both models include a DVI input.
Two further LCD products extend the waterproof-monitor range. The 42LM5WPTC includes a touch-panel function for interactive communication at information points in hospitals, ski areas, hotels, zoos and parks. SANYO developed the new 42SR1 sunlight-readable monitor to improve visibility in strong sunlight. With brightness of up to 1,500 cd/m², the monitor reflects incoming light in addition to its own backlight, increasing brightness and maintaining a clear image. The 42SR1, like the 42LM5WPTC, has low power consumption and is designed for continuous operation. A 178-degree viewing angle provides high-contrast images from a wide range of positions.
All SANYO monitors include an operating manual, remote control, batteries and power cable. The optional PJ Net Organizer Plus network-management accessory, in POA-LN01 and POA-LN02 versions, is available for the displayed 42SR1, 42LM5WP, 42LM5WPTC and 52LH1R, as well as the 42LM5R.
SANYO provides a three-year warranty for all LCD monitors and a free 24-hour replacement service in Germany and Switzerland.
