At Integrated Systems Europe, the leading European exhibition for professional audiovisual solutions and electronic system integration, SANYO Fisher Sales Europe is presenting its latest projector technology. From 29 to 31 January, the company is showing business and education projectors, high-output professional 4:3 models, and professional widescreen projectors for digital cinema and presentations at stand N128.
For digital-signage applications, SANYO is presenting the PLC-XT35L alongside its weatherproof monitors protected against oil and dust. The projector is designed for straightforward operation. A bayonet system allows users to exchange its lens for one of the optional lenses, while the filters and lamps are mounted on the rear and top for easy inspection and replacement. Its symmetrical construction supports 360-degree installation. At 5,000 ANSI lumens, the PLC-XT35L is brighter than its predecessor.
The PDG-DWT50L and PLV-WF20 are SANYO’s new widescreen projectors. The PDG-DWT50L is a DLP projector with WXGA resolution and output of 4,500 ANSI lumens. Tested for continuous 24/7 operation, it is intended for digital cinema and digital signage. The HDTV-compatible projector supports a maximum image diagonal of 12.7 metres. The PLV-WF20 uses a dual-lamp system to deliver 6,000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 2,000:1. Its inorganic panels are claimed to last twice as long as conventional panels while providing higher contrast and better black levels. Motorised lens shift, twelve interchangeable lenses and five connection boards support a wide range of installations. SANYO is also introducing the PLC-ET30L, a portable SXGA+ projector that extends the digital-cinema range with output of 4,000 ANSI lumens.
SANYO is presenting two business and education projectors, the PLC-XW56 and PLC-XU88. The entry-level PLC-XW56 provides 2,000 ANSI lumens, 1.2x zoom and a weight of 2.9 kilograms. Its specified noise level is 25 decibels. The PLC-XU88 uses a direct power on/off function for immediate operation and offers connections including DVI input and an SD-card slot for presentations. Its wide-angle lens provides 1.6x optical zoom. With output of 3,000 ANSI lumens and network support, the PLC-XU88 is designed for office and education use.
For event and staging applications, SANYO is introducing the PLC-XF70, described as the world’s brightest two-lamp LCD projector, with output of 9,000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 2,000:1. Its inorganic panel is designed to improve contrast, image quality and service life. Motorised lens shift supports flexible positioning, while network connectivity allows maintenance and control over LAN.
For home cinema, SANYO is showing the full-HD PLV-Z2000 projector with 3D colour management, a low-noise cooling system and lens shift. The company is also demonstrating the PLC-XL50 ultra-short-throw projector, which produces a two-metre image diagonal from a distance of eight centimetres.
SANYO provides a three-year warranty on all projectors. The PLC-XW56, PLC-XU88, PDG-DWT50L and PLC-XT35L also include a free replacement service that supplies a substitute unit within 24 hours for the duration of a repair.
