The agreement expands a collaboration established over several years and makes ARD.ZDF Medienakademie S4M’s exclusive authorized training partner for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. “We are pleased to have a professional training partner whose media expertise is recognized throughout the German-speaking region,” said S4M business-development director Andreas Jung.
The academy had already offered training for VPMS, S4M’s Video Production Management System. VPMS supports the creation, management, editing and distribution of digital video material from acquisition through production, playout, distribution and archiving.
Alongside VPMS training, ARD.ZDF Medienakademie will offer courses for S4Production, S4M’s production-planning system, and EasyMedia PRO, a system for analyzing television audience ratings.
“The customer gains the greatest benefit from the partnership,” said academy co-managing director Karlheinz Weber. He said combining the two organizations’ expertise would support training tailored to specific audiences, covering the products, their environment and media-production workflows.
