The internationally renowned prize is presented annually
as part of CeBIT.
26 expert judges assessed more than 2,700 entries in 14 categories and honoured 821 products. For the first time, the competition therefore recorded more entries and fewer awards than in the previous year.
“We are very pleased about the award for the SpaceExplorer,” explains Dieter
Neujahr, President of 3Dconnexion. “We attach great importance to an ergonomic
design that provides our users with optimum working comfort. This
award confirms our strategy of designing products that offer a perfect
interaction of design and function.”
The design of the SpaceExplorer convinced the international expert jury. Criteria including functionality, workmanship, choice of materials and ergonomics were assessed.
