meinVZ offers everyone who is not (or is no longer) studying a new digital home where they can effortlessly connect and exchange with their friends: former fellow students, relatives in the USA, the colleague from accounting, the nice neighbour on the second floor, classmates they have lost touch with.
Thanks to its close connection with studiVZ, every meinVZ user is part of the studiVZ network from day one, Germany’s largest social community with more than 5 million registered members. Just like studiVZ and schülerVZ, meinVZ will be free. And meinVZ will also be available in English so that users can connect and communicate with their friends abroad.
“With meinVZ, we are expanding our successful brand family, which already has 8 million registered members,” says Marcus Riecke, CEO of studiVZ. “Our studiVZ community has long been asking us for another platform ‘above’ studiVZ – and we are very pleased to meet this request from our users with today’s launch of meinVZ. This rounds off our offering of social communities with a third brand tailored precisely to the segment of all those who are not (or are no longer) studying.”
Michael Brehm, COO and co-founder of studiVZ: “With meinVZ, we are launching our third platform in three years, which makes us enormously happy and also a little proud. Under the leadership of studiVZ founder Dennis Bemmann, who conceived the new platform, we are also relying on our tried-and-tested recipe for success at meinVZ: visual clarity and simple, intuitive use for users.”
