Of course, fans can still do without the box and go shopping in the FileMaker web store at http://www.filemaker.de/store instead. Whether downloaded or boxed, Bento costs 39 euros or 59 CHF, including VAT in each case.
FileMaker has put together a separate package for families: the Bento family licence can be installed on up to five Mac computers within one household and costs 79 euros or 119 CHF including VAT.
Bento by FileMaker was designed specifically for the Mac and the new Mac OS X v.10.5 (Leopard) operating system. Its main feature is the live connection to Address Book and iCal.
