Hobnox is an online entertainment and publishing platform combining quality-focused web TV and modern community infrastructure with innovative technology. Hobnox began as an initiative by artists for artists to meet the need for self-determined control of creative work on the Internet. The already launched Hobnox channels sly-fi.com, 99stories.com, str33t.org and mi145.com are a statement in content and aesthetics about what web TV can achieve in music, film and urban culture. In spring 2008, the portal will launch with community, production and publishing functions and be brought together with the web TV channels. Until then, “Hobnox Evolution”, an artist-support programme for the first generation of Hobnox creatives, is taking place.
