equinux has introduced iSale 5.1. The update to the leading online auction manager for the Mac allows video clips to be used in auctions to present products even better. The iSale 5.1 template editor can integrate video clips from all common video platforms and Apple’s .Mac web service into auctions. iSale 5.1 also increases security in online trading by integrating the PayPal Security Key.
To integrate a product video clip into an online auction, the iSale 5.1 template editor includes an additional element that can be dragged and dropped into any of the 222 supplied auction templates. Users can enter the video URL for their clips from YouTube, GoogleVideo, MySpace, MyVideo, AOL Video or a .Mac gallery and view them directly in the preview. When the online auction is listed, these clips are displayed within it in the same way users are accustomed to on any other website.
Greater security through the PayPal Security Key
Anyone creating online auctions and handling sales with iSale 5.1 can now use the latest security standards. iSale 5.1 supports the PayPal Security Key, which uses two-factor authentication to ensure that no unauthorised person can access sensitive user data. Before each login, the Security Key generates a random code that the user must enter directly to view their auction data.
