MediaCentral 2.7 includes a completely revised television engine intended to improve image quality, accelerate channel changes and provide direct access to recordings from The Tube.
MediaCentral 2.7 receives live digital terrestrial television through the same engine used by equinux’s The Tube 2.5 software. The company says the release can provide better pictures under weak reception conditions, switch channels faster and access every The Tube recording in the archive directly. It is also intended to run considerably faster, include updated online content and integrate the iPhoto ’08 media library more effectively.
