DeviceAnywhere has added Netbiscuits to its DeviceAnywhere Connect partner program. Netbiscuits is presented as the first mobile-website development platform to support Adobe Flash and AJAX technologies in a phone browser.
Netbiscuits offers its development platform to help ensure the quality and correct operation of mobile internet applications. DeviceAnywhere addresses a major hurdle for content developers by enabling cost-effective testing across phone models and networks without requiring physical access at each location. The partnership gives Netbiscuits users access to DeviceAnywhere technology, improving the efficiency of application development.
DeviceAnywhere gives mobile-application developers online access to more than 1,000 physical devices connected to different mobile networks at test centers worldwide. Developers test applications on real phones instead of simulators and interact with them online as though they were directly in front of the device. Touchscreens and keyboards can be operated, batteries inserted, and flip phones opened and closed. The technology is intended to reduce the cost of manual testing and bring applications to market faster and less expensively.
