As part of the joint web2proof project organized by the Fogra Graphic Technology Research Association, visitors can assemble an individual test form from differently structured image, graphics, and text files at the Fogra booth in Hall 5, A02, choosing material that best reflects their own operating workflow.
At the Quato booth, the PDF can be soft-proofed or used for a hardcopy-to-soft-proof comparison. The setup uses the new iColor Display 3 monitor-calibration software with UDACT certification and the new iColor Proof soft-proofing tool. iColor Proof enables high-quality soft proofing, including simulation of another monitor. Together with the reference calibration integrated into iColor Display 3, which ensures identical color reproduction, this allows precise soft proofs to be displayed easily, including across company boundaries.
The software collection also includes the new version of iColor Print printer calibration. An optional certification and evaluation module is now available. Quato products can therefore ensure and certify binding color communication from editing to output. At the booth, this will be shown live with an OKI color page printer and a large-format inkjet printer.
In cooperation with OKI in Hall 4, B24, Quato is presenting a solution for color-accurate output on LED color printers using iColor Print color profiles and a specially adapted driver. Kodak in Hall 5, D1, is showing Quato monitors for the first time with the Matchprint Virtual remote-proofing solution. Integrated Color Solutions in Hall 4, F47, is taking a similar approach with Remote Director, also using Quato monitors.
