The multifunctional, powerful, and compact PocketDV AHD 300 camcorder can produce recordings easily and inexpensively in HD resolution as well as for DVD and web formats.
The AIPTEK PocketDV AHD 300 provides 1080p HD resolution at 1.5 million pixels, or 1440 × 1080, and frame rates up to 60 fps. It records 1440 × 1080 at 30 fps, 1280 × 720 at 30 fps, and 720 × 480 at 60 fps. Its five-megapixel CMOS image sensor has 2592 × 1944 pixels and captures five-megapixel images or up to eight megapixels through interpolation. It records 1080p HD in 16:9, while standard-TV recordings can be captured and played back in 4:3.
MMC/SD and SDHC memory cards with capacities up to 32 GB can be used for storage. AVC/H.264 encoding supports recording times up to 15 minutes per gigabyte. A 32 GB SDHC card can therefore hold up to eight hours of HD video.
The included remote control, rotating 2.4-inch or 6 cm TFT LCD, integrated microphone and voice-recording functions, integrated speaker, LED lamp, and night mode provide additional convenience. The PocketDV AHD 300 has an HD output and can be connected quickly to an HD or standard-definition television using the included component YUV cable. It can also be used as a digital still camera and voice recorder.
Power is supplied through the included adapter or USB connection. The package includes the AHD 300, NP-60 lithium-ion battery, USB cable and charger, power adapter, YUV component-video cable, AV cable, remote control, case, wrist strap, software, and manual.
