Envivio Inc has announced two MPEG-4 AVC H.264 video encoders and a professional decoder for IP-video delivery ranging from mobile services to HD. The company says the products improve bandwidth efficiency and reduce the cost of HD and SD broadcasting. The 4Caster HD30 HD encoder, 4Caster B30 SD encoder and 4View D10 decoder support traditional DVB-ASI interfaces as well as Ethernet IP interfaces used for satellite and terrestrial distribution.
