Intervideo Filmproduktion Wins Prestigious Corporate Film Award in Vienna

Mainz-based Intervideo Filmproduktion won a Golden Victoria at the International Corporate Film Festival in Austria.

The award was presented for the film “SION—Perfectly Compatible.” Following awards in New York and Frankfurt, this production has now impressed a third international film-festival jury.

The Prix Victoria is the most important media award for German-language corporate film and was presented for the 23rd time this year. Under the patronage of the chambers of commerce of the German-speaking countries, an international expert jury selected the winners from 287 entries. The award was presented by Christine Marek, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labor, and Dr. Walter Rothensteiner, General Director of Raiffeisenzentralbank.

The film’s “hero” is SION, a Siemens vacuum circuit breaker. SION’s decisive advantage is its compatibility with virtually all existing systems. The Intervideo film demonstrates this with a memorable, humorously staged story, showing that the right creative ideas can make even difficult technical subjects engaging and appealing for trade fairs and presentations.
