How does Spyder3TV work?
At the heart of Spyder3TV is a sensor that the owner places on the screen and connects to a computer. A DVD supplies test images that Spyder3TV evaluates. The included software guides the user through the process and provides the recommended settings. The sensor also accounts for ambient light. A printable report records the relevant information in case the settings are changed later. Because a television picture changes over time, Datacolor recommends repeating the procedure several times a year.
Never trust the factory settings
