The Hibino Black Face’s SMD pixel provides high image contrast thanks to its special front surface. The particular advantage of “Black Face” technology is the extremely high black level in the display. This results from the SMD light point being housed in a black rather than a white package. The wall’s pixel pitch is four millimetres, its brightness is 1,200 nits, and its LED density is 62,000 pixels per square metre.
With a horizontal viewing angle of 110 degrees, the minimum distance for comfortable viewing is four metres. The video wall is therefore particularly suitable for trade fairs, exhibitions and presentations, where demand is growing. Compared with the three-millimetre wall, the new model is a more cost-effective alternative. The equipment complements Screen Visions’ broad video wall range and closes the gap between the three-millimetre and six-millimetre walls in the indoor sector.
Alongside the indoor additions, the Stuttgart company is also adding Hibino’s ten-millimetre wall to its outdoor range. It will be used for the first time in a few weeks at the European Football Championship.
