The game will be available for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 video-game and entertainment system, the PlayStation 3 computer-entertainment system and PC. The new Prince of Persia marks the acclaimed series’ debut on next-generation consoles. It is being developed by the multiple-award-winning Ubisoft Montreal studio, also responsible for Assassin’s Creed, and by the same all-star team that created the previous Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time trilogy. Prince of Persia opens a new chapter in the Prince of Persia universe. With new gameplay elements and a completely new illustrative art style, it aims to rejuvenate the action-adventure genre.
Ubisoft will also release a Prince of Persia game specifically adapted for Nintendo DS. It will offer a completely new story and new characters. Further details will be announced in the near future.
