As the WXGA counterpart to the Full HD business projector VPL-FH300L, Sony says the VPL-FW300L, like its sister model, excels in versatile high-end applications. With a Wide-XGA resolution of 1366 x 800 dpi and integrated BrightEra technology, the VPL-FW300L projects clear images with a high 1300:1 contrast ratio and powerful brightness of 7,000 ANSI lumens.
BrightEra is Sony’s proprietary technology for inorganic panels. It increases light output, enabling the VPL-FW300L to project at brightness levels of up to 7,000 ANSI lumens. Black levels and contrast are also higher than on conventional 3LCD devices. Because inorganic panels absorb more damaging UV radiation, their service life is extended. Its high image quality makes the network-capable VPL-FW300L an ideal projector for large conference rooms and auditoriums with large audiences. The redundant dual-lamp system ensures first-class projection even if one lamp fails. The lamps themselves store the number of projection hours used and report this information to the projector, ensuring balanced usage. A range of lens options, including wide-angle, complete the package.
The Sony VPL-FW300L is now available at a recommended retail price of €14,490 plus VAT.
