Whether in the world’s largest professional recording studios or a small bedroom studio, Pro Tools is the recording solution most widely used by professionals around the globe. At the Music Creation Tour, Digidesign and its partners will present the full breadth of the Pro Tools platform. In master classes and workshops, visitors will learn firsthand how professionals work with Pro Tools in the studio. Whether metal, alternative rock, hip-hop or electronic music, Digidesign is bringing some of the best producers and engineers in each style on tour to reveal many tricks from daily production. “Our goal,” says Ingo Gebhardt, Marketing Director for Digidesign Central Europe, “is to give every participant plenty of creative input for their own work. No one can do that better than our many prominent users.”
Anyone wanting hands-on experience can use one of numerous workstations to try the new Elastic Time engine in Pro Tools 7.4, the Eleven guitar-amplifier plug-in and virtual instruments from Digidesign’s AIR Group. Ambitious mixers will find the luxurious C24 mixing surface and Digidesign’s latest generation of monitors. Mix Rack, the new compact version of the VENUE live-sound system, completes the portfolio.
Do not miss the German premiere of Transfuser, a revolutionary new plug-in for loop- and sample-based work.
In cooperation with SAE, Digidesign also offers the opportunity to complete a basic Pro Tools course during the event. It is an ideal introduction to the studio world for anyone encountering Pro Tools for the first time. Special courses for guitarists and beat programmers are also available.
Selected partner companies including M-Audio, Propellerhead, Celemony and Access Music complete the range of the Pro Tools platform by demonstrating their latest products in use with Pro Tools.
