In addition to its exceptional brightness, the professional business device has a contrast ratio of 2,000:1 and features BrilliantColor and UNISHAPE technology. The BenQ SP920 is available from specialist retailers at a recommended retail price of €3,999 including VAT.
The BenQ SP920 has a dual-lamp system offering three different lamp settings, allowing flexible use in rooms of different sizes. In large rooms or auditoriums, 6,000 ANSI lumens using both lamps in Normal mode provide very bright, razor-sharp images. In dual-lamp Eco mode, the device delivers 4,800 ANSI lumens and is suitable for presentations in medium-sized environments. In conventional conference rooms, 3,000 ANSI lumens using a single lamp in Normal mode are sufficient. The second lamp is then placed on standby, which not only saves energy but also extends lamp life.
UNISHAPE technology enables the device to deliver even more brilliant images with greater color depth and contrast. The projector can vary brightness and adapt it to image content within milliseconds. This is made possible by synchronization among the chip, color wheel, and lamp, increasing luminous intensity by 40 percent and improving image and color quality.
Very high image quality is also provided by the DLP BrilliantColor chipset integrated into the SP920. It ensures that colors within the sRGB color space appear significantly more vivid and accurate at high brightness, particularly for mixed colors of 50 percent or more. Independent color management also allows users to control red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, and yellow individually to coordinate color nuance and saturation.
