Adobe Systems is integrating the new Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro software into the Adobe Creative Suite 3.3 Design Premium and Standard editions, Creative Suite 3.3 Web Premium, and Creative Suite 3.3 Master Collection editions. As an attractive option for designers who need to create and develop website prototypes quickly, Adobe Fireworks CS3 is being added to Adobe Creative Suite 3.3 Design Premium. This powerful update to Adobe’s design and development software opens new ways for professional designers, web users, and print-service providers to create and distribute compelling content.

Innovative tools for every creative workflow
Acrobat 9 Pro allows designers to combine PDF files, video and audio content, and other documents into PDF Portfolios that can be browsed easily through user-friendly interactive navigation based on Adobe Flash. Designers can also integrate Flash Player-compatible video content and applications into PDFs and then play that content in Acrobat 9 Pro and Adobe Reader 9.
Acrobat 9 enables designers to collaborate on documents more efficiently and effectively. Users can create and manage forms and collect form data much more easily with Acrobat 9 Pro and Acrobat.com. Acrobat.com is a new offering of centrally hosted services available as a free beta since today. Designers using Acrobat 9 can use Acrobat.com to literally get on the same page with their customers and work together on PDF documents in real time. Customers need only Adobe Reader, with all features available from Reader 9 onward.

The intelligent overprint-preview feature gives print professionals a precise view of how overlapping objects interact by automatically switching overprint preview on and off in Acrobat 9 Pro and Adobe Reader. Print professionals can also reliably convert colors from one color space to another, turn black from RGB and CMYK into solid black, and map one color onto another. This includes mapping Pantone spot colors based on the built-in Pantone library. The multi-document comparison feature shows differences in text, text formatting, images, line spacing, and background information between document versions.
Dynamic web preview
Adobe Fireworks CS3, now included in the Creative Suite 3.3 Design Premium edition, gives designers a flexible tool for building websites for interactive design projects. Fireworks CS3 includes an extensive library of professional templates and enables rapid editing of vector graphics and bitmap images. It also integrates seamlessly with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver, and Adobe Flash.

Pricing and availability
Adobe Creative Suite 3.3 is expected to be available in July 2008. All editions will run on Mac OS X 10.4.11 or 10.5 on Intel-based systems, and on Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista. The software is available from authorized Adobe resellers and from the Adobe Store at http://www.adobe.com/go/buy_creativesuite. Adobe Creative Suite 3.3 Design Premium is expected to cost €2,620 including VAT, Design Standard €2,030, Web Premium €2,260, Master Collection €3,570, and an upgrade from the corresponding CS3 editions €225.
