The browser game “Actionleague Basketball” holds the official FIBA World Championship license. Players can choose original stars from the previous championship squad for their team, step into their favorite players’ shoes and establish themselves as All-Stars in the ranking. Personal game statistics are transferred directly into the interactive FIBA.com profile. In a live 3D atmosphere, users pass, shoot and score on the court, while the best playmaker proves to be the go-to guy. The 3D graphics create a stadium atmosphere and realistically reproduce virtual jersey and perimeter advertising.

By integrating the game, Bigpoint and FIBA connect their communities and create added value for basketball fans and gamers alike.

Bigpoint founder and Managing Director Heiko Hubertz said the FIBA partnership makes “Actionleague Basketball” especially authentic because users compete under the world federation’s umbrella, benefit from sports events and news, play with favorite stars in a realistic arena against real opponents, and follow official FIBA rules.
