Dr. Bertold Heil, head of international mobile-TV projects at MEDIA BROADCAST, has been appointed managing director. The Austrian subsidiary is intended to strengthen cross-company cooperation with customers and partners on DVB-H projects. By establishing MEDIA BROADCAST AT, the media-service provider is creating a foundation for long-term business objectives in Austria.
“From the outset, our goal was a long-term commitment in Austria, and we are now implementing this by establishing our subsidiary,” said Helmut Egenbauer, chairman of MEDIA BROADCAST’s management board. “Together with our national partners, we are also fulfilling our promise to create substantial value in Austria and establish the conditions for the successful launch of a mobile-TV market,” he added.
