Native Instruments today released DEEP TRANSFORMATIONS, a new kind of KORE SOUNDPACK that transforms KORE 2 and the free KORE PLAYER into a powerful effects processor for stage and studio use. Based on KORE 2’s integrated sound engines, DEEP TRANSFORMATIONS offers around 150 sophisticated multi-effects combinations that can process and transform any audio material in versatile and inspiring ways. KORE’s extensive modulation capabilities make DEEP TRANSFORMATIONS a highly creative and particularly intuitive sound-shaping tool for live performers, producers and DJs.
With the integrated engines of ABSYNTH, FM8, GUITAR RIG and REAKTOR, as well as their own high-quality effects, KORE 2 and KORE PLAYER offer outstanding capabilities for processing audio material in real time.
With DEEP TRANSFORMATIONS, this potential is now being fully exploited for the first time in a KORE SOUNDPACK. Using the KORE platform’s powerful MIDI and audio routing, an arsenal of unique and unusual effects has been created—FM Sound Generator, Talking Ring Modulator, Artefact Creator, Enveloped Distortion, Formant Delays, Vinyl Effects and much more.
Each effects processor in DEEP TRANSFORMATIONS offers a special selection of parameters for intuitive, direct control over the key aspects of the sound, which can easily be assigned to any MIDI controller. Intelligent multiple assignments and the innovative “Sound Variations” in KORE 2 / KORE PLAYER enable both smooth and drastic multidimensional sound changes using just a single rotary control. All presets are also provided with KoreSound metadata, allowing them to be retrieved at lightning speed in the KORE Sound Browser to suit the intended musical application.
