Native Instruments has released FM8 TRANSIENT ATTACKS, a new sound library with expressive synthesizer sounds for FM8, KORE 2, and the free KORE PLAYER. The 200 sounds in this KORE SOUNDPACK were developed by experienced FM sound designers specifically for the sonic aesthetics of contemporary electronic music. FM8 TRANSIENT ATTACKS makes full use of both KORE’s innovative functionality and FM8’s outstanding synthesis engine.
The unique sonic potential of FM synthesis is reflected in
FM8 TRANSIENT ATTACKS as a versatile sound library distinguished by its concise, “edgy” character.
The selection includes lead, bass, and pad sounds, as well as percussion, mallets, soundscapes, and much more. With their highly dynamic, digital, raw, metallic, and sometimes experimental character, the sounds in FM8 TRANSIENT ATTACKS cut through any arrangement while also being designed for optimal playability. All presets include extensive metadata, allowing them to be managed efficiently in the KORE Sound Browser.
FM8 TRANSIENT ATTACKS makes full use of FM8’s Morph Square function and KORE’s own “Sound Variations,” allowing each individual sound to be varied and transformed continuously across a wide sonic range. For intuitive operation, all presets offer a specially configured control section in the KORE 2 / KORE PLAYER interface, providing direct access to the most important sound parameters.
FM8 TRANSIENT ATTACKS is now available as a download for €49 from the NI Online Shop.
