The PLC-XW57 and PDG-DSU21E are suitable both for presenting business figures and for installations in educational settings.
The PLC-XW57 is a flexible entry-level model with LCD technology. With 2,000 ANSI lumens, XGA resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels, and a contrast ratio of 600:1, the projector delivers brilliant image quality for both presentations and films. Its minimal fan noise of 26 decibels in Eco mode is barely perceptible. Weighing 2.9kg and measuring 330 x 98 x 237mm, the compact lightweight model is also ideally suited to mobile use. Its 1.2x optical zoom enables quick and easy adaptation to any room.
It stands out in particular for its user-friendly additional functions. Direct Power On/Off allows the device to be switched on and off immediately without waiting. A PIN code and key-lock function protect the projector against theft or unauthorized use. The MyLogo function lets users personalize their presentations: instead of an empty background, a chosen image provides an original introduction before or between presentations. The integrated remote-control codes allow multiple projectors to be controlled with a single remote after assigning the PIN.
SANYO’s latest DLP projector offers excellent image quality for this application area, with 2,300 ANSI lumens, a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels (SVGA), and a contrast ratio of 2,000:1. Thanks to vertical keystone correction of +/-15 degrees and 1.1x optical zoom, the PDG-DSU21E can be optimally adapted to spatial conditions.
At just 2.7kg and with compact dimensions of 271 x 95 x 223mm, the PDG-DSU21E is easy to transport and can therefore be used anytime and anywhere. Its HDTV compatibility, integrated 2W mono speakers, and maximum image diagonal of 762cm also make video playback during classes and meetings enjoyable.
Optional ceiling mounts in various sizes are available for fixed installation of the PDG-DSU21E.
The PLC-XW57 and PDG-DSU21E projectors will be available from specialist retailers from June 2008 for
€649 (recommended retail price excluding VAT).
