Chimera Entertainment Develops for Handhelds and Consoles

One month after the successful release of Windchaser for PC, Munich development studio Chimera Entertainment was looking confidently to the future. Following swiftly completed authorization processes with Microsoft and Nintendo, Chimera Entertainment had been an official developer for Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and DS since mid-June 2008.

At the same time, work was progressing on concrete projects and game prototypes for the various platforms, already making use of new middleware technologies.

Christian Kluckner, technical director at Chimera Entertainment, looked forward to the design challenges of console development: “We are very excited to see how our new concepts can be implemented on the different platforms.” Managing director Hendrik Lesser was already thinking one step further: “I am confident that entering the console market will significantly advance Chimera Entertainment internationally. The team’s creative potential is enormous, and the opportunities are considerable.”
