Integrated production
The Unified Media Factory focuses on the Editors Client. It places the journalist’s workstation at the center of the complete multimedia production chain. Above all, it enables every journalist to meet the growing demands of the multimedia world in a workflow-oriented way, based on rules and rights.
Depending on the relevant production step, the NCPower Editors Client provides the necessary professional tools. It operates completely within a consistent and clearly arranged interface—even outside the newsroom. As an ideal companion, it enables metadata entry and rough editing in the field, for example. In the newsroom, it covers the process from ingest, ingest scheduling, metadata entry, archiving, research and editing through IPM to playout and publishing control.
The colloquium is a joint event with the Television and Cinema Technology Society’s Munich regional group, represented by Honorary Professor Dietrich Sauter of IRT and Markus Vogelbacher of Bavaria Film.

To simplify security procedures at the gate to the Bavarian Broadcasting television-studio site, organizers ask participants to bring the invitation and personal identification. Vehicles can be parked in the large BR car park before the gate on the right.
