The Nextbase SDV485-BY mobile DVD player and DVB-T receiver is a complete package for everyone who enjoys television and films on the move. According to the manufacturer, the device offers a significantly better high-performance antenna than its predecessor at the same price—and therefore up to ten times stronger reception for mobile television. AV input and output sockets provide more connection options. Its infrared transmitter can also send audio to wireless headphones.
The compact device, which weighs only 750 grams and has an 8.5-inch TFT display, does not need to be unfolded and is ready for immediate use. It accepts video DVDs and plays exciting feature films while traveling by car, train or plane. Naturally, the device can also be used at a vacation destination as a modern alternative to a television. Thanks to its AV output, the Nextbase SDV485-BY can even be connected to any television as an external DVD player. The AV input also allows portable MP3 video players to be used as video sources.

The device’s antenna was extensively revised compared with its predecessor and now offers ten times stronger reception for mobile television. At the same time, the DVB-T receiver was optimized for mobile use. The Nextbase SDV485-BY also works very well as a card reader. It recognizes SD, MS, MS-Pro and MMC cards and can play films and photos stored on them.
