US processor manufacturer Intel will contribute several presentations to the conference program and will also be represented in the exhibition area. Intel has supported GCDC, Europe’s leading developer conference, since its launch in 2003. The conference takes place in Leipzig from 18 to 20 August 2008 ahead of GC – Games Convention.
“GCDC 2008 is an excellent opportunity to present Intel’s development capabilities and technologies,” says Elliott Garbus, Vice President at Intel and General Manager of the Visual Computing Software Division. “Intel is pleased to become involved whenever it can support innovation in the worldwide game-development industry.”
“For the sixth consecutive year, Intel is helping shape our program and thus making a significant contribution to ensuring that GCDC is an essential event not only on a European but also on a global scale,” says Frank Sliwka, Project Director of GCDC.
GCDC 2008 offers numerous opportunities to connect with major industry players such as Intel and Nokia and exchange information about the latest developments. The conference expects a further increase this year in participating experts from the games industry and game development. Further information about GCDC is available at http://www.gcdc.eu.
