The two new ultramobile InFocus projectors, the IN1100 and IN1102, meet the needs of business travelers and presenters who depend on mobile, reliable, bright, and flexible projectors. The devices can also be set up and connected quickly and easily. A highlight of both models is the new DisplayLink technology, which transfers data through a small, lightweight USB cable, reducing the weight of the connection cable as well. With DisplayLink, talks and presentations can be projected onto the screen within seconds, without a complicated setup or activation of the external monitor. The projector can also be controlled easily using an on-screen remote control. Both the IN1100 and IN1102 feature the new DLP BrilliantColor technology, which guarantees rich, brilliant colors.
Both projectors impress with their technical specifications. The IN1100 offers XGA resolution (1,024 x 768) and brightness of 2,100 ANSI lumens, while the IN1102 provides WXGA resolution (1,280 x 800) at 2,200 ANSI lumens. Both devices have a contrast ratio of 1,800:1—all at a weight of just 1.2 kilograms. The new InFocus models also say goodbye to cable clutter: both the IN1100 and IN1102 optionally work with the LiteShow II module, enabling presentations to be transmitted wirelessly from a notebook to the projector.
Pricing and Availability
The InFocus IN1100 and IN1102 come with a three-year product warranty and a twelve-month lamp warranty. The recommended retail price is 999 euros for the IN1100 and 1,099 euros for the IN1102, excluding VAT. Both projectors are expected to be available from specialist retailers at the end of August 2008.
