The film adaptation, featuring stars including Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Julie Walters, Stellan Skarsgård and Christine Baranski, together with newcomers Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper, is currently spreading a carefree feeling of summer, sunshine and good cheer in German cinemas. The ABBA songs, performed by the actors themselves, stay with audiences, and more than a few cinemagoers leave singing and humming.
MAMMA MIA! THE MOVIE has been in cinemas since July 17, 2008.
