The new iPod nano features Apple’s Genius music technology, which creates playlists of songs that go well together with one click. It also has a redesigned user interface, a high-resolution widescreen display and a built-in accelerometer that automatically switches to Cover Flow when the device is rotated or to Shuffle mode when it is gently shaken. The new iPod nano provides up to 24 hours of music playback or four hours of video playback and is available worldwide immediately as an 8GB model for €149 and a 16GB model for €199. Both models come in silver, purple, blue, green, orange, yellow, pink, a (Product) RED Special Edition and black.

The new iPod nano—the world’s thinnest iPod—features an elegant new design with a brilliant 2-inch display and a superb curved aluminum-and-glass enclosure. Its newly contoured shape feels even better in the hand.
The iPod nano works seamlessly with iTunes, making favorite content easy to import, manage and synchronize. The iTunes Store offers music, videos and games, with more than 8.5 million songs available to preview and purchase with one click. With up to 24 hours of audio playback or four hours of video playback, the new iPod nano is the lightest way to carry favorite music, TV shows, videos and games. The 16GB model holds up to 4,000 songs, 14,000 photos and 16 hours of video. The 8GB model holds up to 2,000 songs, 7,000 photos and eight hours of video.
The new iPod nano works with the new iTunes 8 Genius feature, allowing users to create playlists automatically while on the move. Users can preview Genius playlists, refresh them, add more songs and save them for later playback.
The iPod is the most successful family of digital music players, with more than 160 million sold. Apple’s new iPod line includes the iPod shuffle in four vibrant new colors from €45; the slimline iPod classic with 50 percent more capacity at the same price—120GB for €239; the fourth-generation iPod nano with its curved aluminum-and-glass enclosure in nine vibrant colors from €149; and the second-generation iPod touch from €219. iPod owners can choose from more than 5,000 products designed specifically for iPod, including cases, fitness accessories, speaker systems and iPod connections for cars, available in more than 90 percent of all new cars sold in the United States.
