The anti-reflective glass also eliminates up to 98 percent of disruptive light reflections, providing a clear image with rich colors. Combined with a fast two-millisecond response time, an HDMI interface and a contrast ratio of 4000:1, the newcomer is ideally suited to home-theater and multimedia applications.
The 22-inch widescreen monitor features a combination of clean lines, glossy piano lacquer and a premium dark-brown leather strip along the bottom edge of the screen. Together with the curved aluminum stand, this makes the LS221H a stylish object for office or home environments. The monitor also offers a special highlight: LEDs built into the stand provide pleasant ambient lighting or alert users when they leave the office that the monitor is still running.

Combined with a response time of just two milliseconds gray-to-gray, the new display can reproduce demanding video applications and games realistically without image lag or ghosting. The integrated Aspect Control function supports lifelike images and HD gaming by allowing users to switch quickly between Full and 4:3 display modes. ASUS’s integrated SPLENDID™ Video Intelligence Technology provides brilliant panel images by automatically adjusting color, brightness, contrast and sharpness.
