Using practical examples, the speakers will explain compositing techniques such as grading, tracking, matte painting and projections in 3D space.
After completing his master’s degree in computer science at the University of Bern, Miklos Kozary began working as a compositor at Treibhaus Postproduktion, formerly Das Werk Zürich, and spent two years working on features and commercials. In 2006, he moved to Mr. X in Toronto, where he worked as a compositor on the films “Shoot ’Em Up” and “Lust, Caution” and served as 2D sequence lead on “Resident Evil: Extinction”. Since early 2008, he has been a co-owner and compositing co-supervisor at Elefant Studios in Zurich.
Stephan Schweizer began his career at the Zurich University of the Arts. He then completed four years of training as a graphic designer and continued his education in digital film in Munich. In Zurich, he specialised further as a compositing artist during four years at Ultra Images.
Since 2006, he has worked as a freelancer and as compositing supervisor, sequence lead and artist on films including “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian”, “The Red Baron”, “300” and Michael “Bully” Herbig’s “Lissi und der wilde Kaiser”. Since early 2008, he has been a co-founder and compositing co-supervisor at Elefant Studios in Zurich.
