ViewSonic: 16:10 Projector Offers Perfect Compatibility with Widescreen Notebooks

With its new PJ359w widescreen projector in 16:10 format, ViewSonic is targeting the millions of widescreen-notebook users in business environments.

The new widescreen model allows users to project their notebook displays onto the presentation surface in perfect image quality without distracting bars. After work, the PJ359w is also ideal for enjoying widescreen cinema formats at home. The ultraportable WXGA model provides numerous connections for varied presentations, including an HDMI 1.3 digital interface, and supports HD signals up to 1080p. Its features give the PJ359w considerable flexibility in placement, while its weight of only 1.8 kilograms and compact dimensions make it easy to transport.

With a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a contrast ratio of 500:1 and light output of 2,000 ANSI lumens, the projector’s latest 3LCD technology produces razor-sharp images with brilliant colours even in brighter environments. The PJ359w features a wide-angle lens, making presentations possible even in small rooms. From a projection distance of only 1.6 metres, it already produces an image diagonal of 1.27 metres. Vertical keystone correction of plus or minus 30 degrees and a powerful optical zoom ensure perfectly proportioned images. Special preset modes can also be selected to optimise the image for the presentation surface.

The warranty package is highly customer-friendly: ViewSonic provides a three-year warranty on the PJ359w with on-site replacement service and a one-year warranty on the lamp, or 1,000 hours of lamp operation.

The PJ359w will be available from specialist retailers in November at a recommended retail price of €927 including VAT.
