The new MacBook, 15-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air feature a next-generation Mini DisplayPort optimised for connecting the new 24-inch Apple LED Cinema Display. The new display includes a built-in iSight video camera, microphone and speaker system in an elegant aluminium-and-glass enclosure. As part of the next generation of DisplayPort standards, the new Mini DisplayPort delivers a pure digital signal suitable for displays up to 30 inches. At only 10 per cent the size of a standard DVI connector, Mini DisplayPort fits perfectly with the slim design of the new MacBook family. Adapters are available for using Mini DisplayPort with previous-generation VGA, DVI/HDMI and dual-link DVI displays.
