In his plenary presentation, Henkel will report on the experiences of a news broadcaster that has switched to tapeless production. The presentation focuses on the workflow, the necessary requirements and the benefits the new working method can bring, including efficiency, transparency and flexibility. S4M’s Business Relations Manager Asia will discuss whether journalists must now become broadcast engineers—and, conversely, what will become of editors. Henkel will conclude by summarising the pros and cons of “going tapeless” and presenting examples from S4M’s customer base.
