Novation on Tour

On its 2008 Automap Universal dealer tour, Novation demonstrates how simple modern MIDI control can be.

Novation controllers are already an ideal solution in their own right for controlling virtual instruments, recording tracks and managing the entire production process—on stage or in the studio, on the road or during bedroom recording. Thanks to the unique Automap Universal software, assigning controls has become effortless.

All parameters are detected directly and assigned logically. If an assignment does not match the user’s habits, they need only click the parameter and touch the desired control to create a new assignment.

During its 2008 dealer tour, Novation will demonstrate on site how easy it is to work with Automap Universal and Novation controllers. Product specialist Rob Jones will explore the finer points of Automap Universal and then answer questions.

The Nocturn, Compact and SL controllers will also be used, together with the unique compact nio 2|4 interface.
