The studio was founded in 1997 and employs more than 120 developers. Massive ranks among the world’s top 50 development studios in Game Developer Research 2008. The studio is known for its expertise in the real-time strategy genre and the quality of its own innovative technologies.
Critically acclaimed World in Conflict won the “Best Strategy Game of E3 2007” award and was also named “Best Online Multiplayer Game 2007” by IGN and “Most Innovative Game of 2007” by GameSpot, among other honors.
