Tom Clancy’s EndWar differs fundamentally from other video games: it allows players to control their troops entirely by using their voice. Tom Clancy’s EndWar is available now for Xbox 360 and the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system, and is the first new game franchise in the Tom Clancy line since the introduction of the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell series in 2001.
“Tom Clancy’s EndWar changes the way video games can be experienced because it allows players to control a game exclusively with their voice,” said Benedikt Schüler, Marketing Director at Ubisoft Germany. “Ubisoft is presenting a revolution in the strategy-game genre, and we firmly believe that EndWar will lay the foundation for the success of strategy games on consoles.”
Set on the battlefields of World War III, Tom Clancy’s EndWar establishes new technical standards and features artificial intelligence, graphics, game physics and animation that could not have been realized before the arrival of the new console hardware. Tom Clancy’s EndWar was designed from the ground up as a revolutionary strategy game tailored entirely to the new generation of consoles.
Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy titles are among the best-selling and most critically acclaimed series in the games industry. Combined, releases in the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon series have sold more than 45 million units worldwide. In 2006, the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences named Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas the year’s Best First-Person Action Game. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter™ was honored as Best Video Game of the Year at the prestigious BAFTA Awards.
Tom Clancy’s EndWar is available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at a recommended retail price of €69.95 and carries a German USK age rating of 16 and over.
