With eight high-quality microphone preamps, the 003 Rack+ Factory system is a powerful option for anyone who needs more microphone inputs for even more extensive recording sessions.
With a total of 18 simultaneously usable I/O channels, the 003 Rack+ offers the most comprehensive range of analog and digital inputs and outputs ever provided by a Pro Tools LE system—the ideal hub for a wide variety of home and project studios. The highlight of the 003 Rack+ system is undoubtedly its eight microphone inputs with studio-quality preamps, each featuring switchable 48 V phantom power, −20 dB pads, high-quality analog low-cut filters and front-panel gain controls. Eight analog DI/line inputs and outputs are available for instruments and line-level equipment, including a DI/line input on the front panel for especially fast and simple connection of a recording source. In addition, there are eight digital ADAT channels (optical), two digital S/PDIF channels and 16 MIDI I/O channels.
As with all Pro Tools systems, the 003 Rack+ Factory package also includes the powerful Pro Tools LE software in its current version (currently 7.4, but with a free upgrade to Pro Tools 8 when available). The 003 Rack+ Factory system also includes more than 80 professional virtual instruments and effects plug-ins worth over €2,400, supports countless additional plug-ins and other software options, and can be expanded even further with Digidesign toolkits.
