The public portion of the annual general meeting of the German Society of Cinematographers will take place on 24 January 2009 at Studio Hamburg.
A symposium titled “Make It in Post? Cinematography and Postproduction” will be held in Studio 6. Renowned speakers will give presentations on the subject and illustrate them with compelling film examples.
Studio Hamburg Postproduction will complement the symposium with an insight into its postproduction capabilities.
The society’s industry exhibition, featuring products and presentations from numerous manufacturers in image capture, lighting, grip and related fields, will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. across 900 square meters in Studio 2. Studio Hamburg Filmtechnik will also present its services during the event and open its facilities for tours and presentations.
From 7 p.m., the German Society of Cinematographers will invite guests to its traditional annual reception at the Film Casino on the studio site.
